Well after reading all the drivel, this being my first visit here, I have to ask.
Is there an actual point to this web site?
Apart from the mainly childish snipes at each other?

And who exactly is the 'editor' Paul Boland?

Again looking around I can find no reference to him, other than on the contact page (editor) and a few comments here amongst the childish remarks.

Maybe it would be helpful to have an introduction page, for both the editor and the role of this site!

I was looking at becoming a registered member, hoping this site had something to contribute towards making Dover a better place to live or visit.

So far all I can see is it's a sounding board for some guy who thinks it's clever to be a labour supporter, without any respect for others views/political leanings.

Whilst I support freedom of speech, I also support acting like an adult!!
I must admit if I was to vote for a political party (rather than a representative for me regardless of 'colour') it would now definitely NOT be for that labour supporter!!

There is much in the news today that makes Dover a suburb of Brest, something along those lines anyway.
I read that the EU has set up a cross-border entity called "Arc-Manche". This brings together the areas and the peoples of the south and south east of Britain together with those of north western France.
If only 'pissoirs' could be adopted the male of the species could have been spared the physical anxiety of need without outlet.

I used to work in Dover. I still visit occasionally, and I am horrified by all this argument over the lack of provision for Public Conveniences (trick is in the name - they are convenient for us, not the funded councillors bitching over who's expenses are docked to pay for them!). The fact is, Dover is the gateway to Europe - and I don't like my gate smelling randomly of piss!
