Not sure if I mentioned this on my early days on here, but can`t seem to get much information on the old brewery up St Radigund`s which was taken over by Rowland & Rowland back in the 60s, and is now Rowley`s club, (still?). Wondered about it`s history and what sort of beer they made?

I really do not see the signal.

I've always liked this pub site! I drop in quite often, and every time there's something new.

fascinating site, spotted a few errors, i suppose it is all based on information given by people who are trying to remember dates and and names.

the westbury is down as closed in 1991, it was still open when i moved here in 2002.
i would guess it closed about 3 years later.

now converted into flats.

Every, Paul is always after information, I feed pictures in when I find them occasionally and he regularly updates it. Is an amazing resource based on the work of Barry Smith over many years.

Howard, the Pike`s Blue Book of Dover for 1937/38 show`s them as 2 different places, Ladywell Place being a No Thoroughfare from Park Place.

I really do not see the signal.
