Ferry operators threaten to sue Dover Harbour Board (452 views)
i am a bit lost on this one too. is there any chance of the ferry companies getting a refund? do they want to scupper the sell off? Last edited at 11:12am on 14/03/10 by howard mcsweeney |

The ferry companies want to do what's best for the ferry companies, as they always have. Locals ought not to get sucked into this one. They do business and do it well, they don't care about Trust status ,just the bottom line. There is a tactical game being played here. Who is using who? Watty |

Have to leave this thread the moment.Just a word of caution. Beware the "useful idiots".Just be careful listening to the "useful idiots" as the Russians called them. There are a lot of games being played on this one. It's a chess game.Don't take things at "face value". Watty |

They will not sell the port with a Trust status on it,so no buyer no sell off "GOOD" |

This has a long way to go. Do you still support the sell off paulw? Barryw has been honest enough to say he does against charlies wishes |

paul w should write a spy book, makes john le carre look like jeffrey archer. |

I agree, Howard - very cryptic stuff! Methinks he knows something we don't...... |

trouble is andy, there is only so much a council leader or cabinet member can say on a public forum. one word out of place and the local media would go for the throat. that is their job anyway. |

Well the things you get told and asked when you go round the streets, one thing I was asked to do on monday was Vic aske the D,H,B why they are selling off the port of Dover for less than half the market price,he has asked me at this time not to give his name out,he will do that when he is ready,They put the market value of the port well over a billion pounds, and he will put that case forward when the time is right.
