Boat Trains into Dover Marine Again? (552 views)
Still the same today,I was only talking last week to a person who has made a investment and has now been waiting for the planning dept for it to go ahead, and that was last year, the person told me they might have to pull out and go because of the wait.,also a Dover developer has or about to go bust. Any comments Vic of the news in the paper about DDC Planning Dept praising the plan for 6 shops at White Cliffs Business Park ? |

That was discussed at last nights planning committee meeting, which I was unable to attend, so can't let you know the outcome. Roger |

Train ferries. No 5 berth from beginning to the first trains on board. Quite easy when you think about it. ![]() ![]() |

No 5 berth replaced the old Ferry Dock, the first trains on board for testing went well and my Father inlaw took the first train on board whilst I operated the computerised system for the bridges ![]() All of this cost 10m and was expected to last for 10yrs, I think it went on for 15yrs. |

Great Photos Ian would like to see them back again with the jobs that went with them. |

Only cut up a couple of years ago ![]() |
